ADMISSIONS

We are delighted that you are considering Fortis International School for your child’s education. Students may be admitted to Fortis International School at any grade level, admissions remain open throughout the academic year, subject to availability. The earliest eligible entry to Fortis International School is when a child reaches the age of three. Please note that each grade level has limited seats. Parents should be aware that specific grade levels may have waiting lists, underscoring the importance of early registration.

ELIGIBILTIY CRITERIA

PLAYGROUP
For Playgroup, children aged 3-4 are eligible. We will strongly suggest children to be toilet-trained and capable of following simple instructions.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN
For Pre-Kindergarten, children aged 4-5 are eligible, provided they are toilet trained and possess a basic level of communication skills with their teachers and peers.

KINDERGARTEN
For Kindergarten, children aged 5-6 are eligible, with the requirement of having completed at least 1 year of preschool. Additionally, a foundational understanding of basic numeracy and literacy is essential.

ADMISSION PROCESS GUIDELINES

Admission to Fortis International School’s Preschool is open year-round, depending on seat availability. The admission process is as follows:

  1. Parent’s Visit: Prospective parents are invited to initiate the admission process by scheduling a private school tour. This can be arranged by directly contacting the admission office or filling out the online admission inquiry form.
  2. Parent’s Interview/Student’s Visit: Prospective parents and students will meet with our Relationship Manager for an informal discussion. Parents are encouraged to take a guided tour of the school while the child is assessed by the staff.
  3. Admission Criteria: Our program places significant importance on the involvement and commitment of parents. Admission is offered to a child after ensuring that parents grasp our program and are willing to actively partner with the school for the benefit of the child.
  4. Notifications: Decisions regarding admission are made on a rolling basis throughout the academic year as seats become available. Parents can expect to receive a response approximately one week after submitting their applications.
  5. Waiting List: Information regarding the waiting list will be provided as necessary.
